The Summit Events Hall was originally built as a single-family home for the Sherman family in 1903. It was designed by Wallace Dow, who designed many private homes in the neighborhood.
In 1941, it was purchased by the Knights of Columbus. In 1947, the event space was added. The Knights owned and operated the building with great pride and care until 2015.
In 2015, it re-opened as the Summit Events Hall. The new management is honored to be part of special parties in this unique space for brides and grooms, corporate gatherings, reunions, private parties, and more. Continue reading...
Ryan Hochreiter and Jane Gullickson have operated the Summit Events Hall since 2015. With their combined experience in business management and design, they have loved creating a vision for the Summit and witnessing it become a reality.
When they get a break from the business they love, their life is really about seeking adventure, being blessed by raising foster kids, trying great food, riding bike, and cheering for the Chicago Cubs.
